First, thank you for the wonderful evening. We couldn’t go to sleep without sharing a moving experience with you. “One who teaches his friend’s son Torah, is as if he gave birth to him.” As the spiritual parents of our dear son Ram Yechiel נ”י, we would like you to know what’s on his mind. His attitude is not something to be taken for granted – certainly not every parent receives such a gift. Thank you for the special evening of chizuk before the Yom Tov of Matan Torah. May you bring greater glory to Torah, and continue to sanctify Hashem’s Name.

From Ram Yechiel:
My dear parents,
I’m writing this letter to express my gratitude for all you have done for me. I have no words to fully express my feelings of appreciation. You have always given me everything, and to this day, baruch Hashem, I have lacked for nothing – you have always been there for me. Thank you for enrolling me in this yeshivah, where I am very happy. Baruch Hashem, I am completing my third year, and next year, with Hashem’s help, I want to continue my path in life by going on to yeshivah gedolah. Abba and Ima, I thank you with all my heart – wherever I am, you support me and don’t let me fall. To show my gratitude, I want to give you nachas by doing well in my learning, so that you can hear from my rebbe that I am succeeding in yeshivah. Right now, this is the best way for me to make you happy. May you live lives of happiness and nachas from the children, lacking for nothing, to a hundred and twenty.
With affection from your loving son,
And now, the best for last – a few words to you, Ima.
Please daven for me that I will be accepted by the yeshivah I want to attend, and that Hashem should fulfill my heart’s requests for good; that the entrance exams for yeshivah gedolah should go easily, and that I should be accepted easily; and that this year should finish off on the right foot, with good memories. Beyond yeshivah gedolah, daven that I succeed in life, with all I need, and live a happy, healthy and whole life; that I should do well in life, following in the right path, and not fall as the end of the year approaches; and that what I want to accomplish should come easily. May all the years ahead of us be healthy and good, and may we merit to live our lives like children of the King, and not as others do.
Dear Ima, I thank you for all the good in the world that you do for me. Please continue to be the mother that I love.
With great appreciation, and may our tefillos be answered,
Your son,
Ram Yechiel Peleg
