The Founding of the Yeshivah
At Acheinu’s Kiruv Conference in Adar 5767 (2007), attended by gedolei Yisrael, the establishment of a new yeshivah for Israeli Torani school graduates was announced. The Yeshivah opened its doors the following Elul.
Our Students
The Yeshivah was founded to meet their needs of eighth-grade graduates of Torani schools throughout Eretz Yisrael who want to go on to yeshivah, but lack the necessary background.
Our Goal
The Yeshivah seeks to integrate its graduates into the mainstream Torah world. Our unique approach combines understanding and affection with high standards of mussar, middos, and yiras Shamayim.
Our Methods
“Train the youth in keeping with his way.” We provide a full yeshivah program, with emphasis on joy in learning. The yeshivah has designed a variety of projects, campaigns and special challenges to heighten motivation, bringing out the very best in each of our boys. We believe that within the standard yeshivah framework, it is possible to set up a “working plan” for every student, geared to his abilities and skills, and follow the progress of each student as an individual. A talmid who successfully meets his personal goals takes pride in his accomplishments, and is ready for more.
Alongside the learning programs, talmidim can take advantage of our game room, during breaks and after the evening sessions. Exciting activities and outings interspersed throughout the year are important motivators.
The Yeshivah Staff
The Yeshivah staff brings together years of experience in teaching and yeshivah placement work. Their experience and understanding are major factors in planning the individual programs to meet the needs of each student.
The Student Body
The Yeshivah has three grades, known in classic yeshivah terminology as shiur alef, shiur beis, and shiur gimel, and a mechinah (preparatory program) for yeshivah gedolah. Every class is limited to twenty-four students. Within each class there are subdivisions based on the students’ level, to maximize individual potential.
